Falling in Love
We play ‘How Far is Too Far?’, reading out the crazy things our listeners have done in love
Discuss how we knew we were in love (love vs in love) ask ourselves whether you can really love someone you don’t know
Ask when you should say I love you
Explore the differences between falling and being in love
The period of falling in love can often be so intense that you might find yourself going to ridiculous extremes to make your love known. From writing a poetry anthology, to flying from country to country for a little more time with someone. In our game, How Far Is Too Far? we read the wild things you’ve done for love and find out how far you can go for love.
We attempt to get to the root of these grand gestures and dive deep into our experience of falling in love. We look at how love changes over time, from when you’re falling in love to when you’re officially in love and dating long-term. We also question how to know you’re in love or in lust— when you’re younger it’s especially hard to figure this out, as someone’s affection can easily be mistaken for love, and you might love someone but not be in love.
We ask ourselves questions like: how did I know I was in love? How soon is it too soon to say I love you? What if they don’t love me back? Can you really love someone you don’t know? Can you love someone too soon? and attempt to provide answers and advice to avoid getting trapped by bad decisions and behaviours when you might be caught up in the frenzy of falling in love.
