Sex, Love, and COVID-19

  • We hear from our listeners about how COVID-19 has affected their sex and love lives and stupid arguments they’ve had during lockdown

  • We discuss how our own relationships have been affected by lockdown/ quarantine

What does the world of dating, sex and relationships look like in the midst of a pandemic? How has covid affected relationships by calling the world into quarantine and forced some into cohabitation or into long distance relationships?

This week we attempt to paint the picture of relationships in covid times. In our segment we ask how quarantine might affect your sex/love life moving forward and discover we all want more sex, essentially. We also discover the ways quarantine has made us reassess what we want. We laugh about petty arguments in quarantine in our second segment, and contemplate whether there is such a thing as spending too much time with someone else.

We then move on to discussing our own relationships during covid, from Maria locking down with her boyfriend in Paris to Honey being forced into a long distance relationship by covid and travel restrictions from UK to the US.

Everything, but particularly relationships, under covid has been difficult, with covid breaking up relationships to causing extreme stress in others. As we move through the pandemic, it's important to look back on what we have learnt and attempt to come out of this better than when it started, whether that be in a relationship or not.

Be kind and stay safe!
