For the first time ever on Sextras, we recorded in the same room and had a chat about friendships and how they intertwine with your romantic relationships. We open with a segment in which we asked for your honest thoughts and opinions on your best friend’s significant other, from concern to dislike to jealousy.

We then dive deeper into our own experiences and consequent advice such as establishing boundaries in what you share with your friends and assessing when you might want to comment on your friend’s relationship. Sometimes it’s not appropriate to get involved in a friend’s relationship, and it’s important to remember that you don’t always know the whole story, only the parts that your friend choses to share with you (which are often the bad parts). We question what you do if your friend is dating someone you hate and how you go about expressing that opinion.

Lastly, we end by deciding whether or not we actually care about our friends’ opinions on our relationships, and more importantly whether we should care.
